How do I post a listing?

Click Post a Sale, fill out the 4-step form, submit. Goes live after a quick review.

How long does review take?

Usually within 24 hours, often faster.

How long does my listing stay up?

Until your sale date passes. Contact crew@garagehoppers.com to remove it early.

Can I edit my listing after submitting?

Email crew@garagehoppers.com with your listing address and the changes needed.

What photos should I upload?

Clear photos of your items or your setup. Listings with photos get significantly more views.

Do I need an account to browse?

No account needed. Browse and search freely.

Do I need an account to post a listing?

No account required. Just fill out the form.

How does the map work?

Every listing is geocoded to its address and plotted on an OpenStreetMap map. You can search by city and radius.

What areas do you cover?

All of Canada and the United States.

What is a Community Sale?

A group of households in the same area holding sales on the same day -- like a neighbourhood garage sale day.

How does the Community Sale Organiser work?

You set up the event at garagehoppers.com/organise, get a join link, and share it. Participants add their own address using the link. Everything maps automatically. You get a dashboard, a KML export for Google My Maps, and a printable flyer.

Can participants cancel?

Yes. Each participant gets a private manage link emailed to them. They can cancel anytime without contacting the organiser.

Who is the bunny?

Our mascot. He hunts for deals.
